Made a Winter pilgrimage to the source of the River Thames, the source of my inspiration over the past few years. A few weeks before it had flooded up out of the ground turning the fields around the stone marker and start of the Thames path into water.
On my visit that part was dry again but the grass was combed into the shape of a stream, with green water weed tangled in with it.
Walked the first mile of Thames path and found water. It immediately formed a beautiful river.
We saw a robin and long-tailed tits in the woodland across the water.
